Ariya Eko is a yearly musical event duly copyrighted. It is geared towards recognition, celebration and showcasing of the rich , vibrant and nostalgic musical culture and heritage of our people in its traditional and contemporary form while harnessing its potentialities for development of a highly needed vintage music culture especially amongst our youths. Coupled with opening the Vistas of international diplomacy and building authentic cultural relations between the heartland of Lagos to their neighbors and international community.

This event has become important because of the dwindling light of great musicians of the Lagos roots who have become totally forgotten and relegated to the background because of continuous change in the musical atmosphere.

Lagos state over the years have become the socio-economic, cultural and entertainment nerve centre of our great country Nigeria. This event will overtime become a platform to showcase musical dexterity and renowned accomplishments great indigenous musicians from Nigeria who have immensely contributed to the musical development of our country.
