I am an artist who loves to experiment or mind of explorations in art. I also love to text the minds of the viewers or enthusiasts on art appreciation.

‘Atinu Ade’ literal meaning in Yoruba – is when you are born with the Royals’ blood, either as a prince or princess that transcends into a king or queen.
I feel that this earth is a special place for the Royals

I hail from Edo State, though I was born and raised in the city of Lagos and went for my undergraduate programs at Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, popularly known as OAU.

In the last 16 years, I have invested in full-time studio practice where I fee comfortable to create and unleash my thoughts on both sculpture or painting that will make a difference and be known for that originality.

Luke Osaro, a remarkable Nigerian sculptor, embodies happiness, love, freedom, and sharing within his community and artistic journey. His welcoming studio in Lagos reflects his down-to-earth nature. Luke’s life is a beautiful story, and his artistic voyage promises an even brighter future.

In front of his studio stands a well he dug for his family and community, highlighting his generosity. Luke’s studio serves as a sanctuary for young artists seeking guidance in their creative paths. He’s a vital network and bridge for all artists, striving to break conventions in the industry.

In 2007, Luke and his avant-garde group, the ‘Revolution Art Movement,’ organized a self-sponsored exhibition at the National Museum in Lagos, defying the industry’s norms. While it was financially challenging, their appearance on Channels TV was a game-changer.

Luke Osaro’s childhood memories include the Airforce road in Shasha, connecting him to his roots and aspirations. He attended Shasha Primary School and later Shasha Community High School, known for academic and moral excellence.

As the second child of his parents, Luke’s talent for drawing was evident from an early age. His determination echoes the spirit of the ‘Zaria Rebels,’ who revolutionized art in Nigeria.

In 2021, Luke’s tenacity shone with his ‘Scent of Eden’ exhibition, organized in collaboration with OM Gallery in Lagos, despite the challenges posed by COVID-19. Luke’s key lesson is to over-deliver in his art, acknowledging the power of digital revolution and social media in propelling artists onto the global stage. Young artists now have a faster route to recognition and success, thanks to digital platforms.
