We’re now accepting applications to participate in The Nlele Institute (TNI) April workshop titled:

Perspective, Photography and the Photographer
Date: July 26 – 30. 2021

TNI provides technical and thematic workshops yearly (on quarterly basis) to aid the artists’ developmental process. Technical workshops, with the aid of advisors/facilitators from Nigeria (including visiting Lecturers from overseas) provide participants with new concepts, techniques and the latest insights in the development and production of their works. Our workshops also teach creative/critical writing and portfolio presentation. Over the years, TNI have developed several educational programs in mentorships and exhibitions to give the desired visibility to emerging photographers in Nigeria. These programs are used as platforms by the Institute in providing training opportunities in art photography.

To participate, send your request/intention with the following to: artists.liaison@tniacp.org.ng

1) A PDF document containing a short bio (300 words), artist statement (300 words), previous/current/ongoing project of not more than 15 images.

2) A self portrait, 72 dpi and not exceeding 1920 pixels (on the longest side)

Our participants will have the benefit(s) and opportunities to have their works reviewed by renowned Nigerian photographers/professionals/facilitators and leaders of international photography organizations. Participants will also have the privilege to be part of our 2021/2022 photography exhibitions, festivals and art fairs. Participation in our workshops will offer involvement(s)in Nigeria and internationally visible peak moments in photography and other lens based media.
