Some of us grew up in the 80’s watching the dexterity of this handsome man on his guitar. His unique delivery on his guitar and intimidating stature stood him out always. Paul Tao who is now over 70 years of age was the brain behind the guitar works of some Melodious Evergreen songs.

He joined Ebenezer Obey’s band in 1981 as a lead guitarist before he left in 1992. In 1984 he met Evangelist J.A Adelakun and recorded some of his Evergreen Songs ie Amona Tete Mabo, Jesu Yo se Iyanu, etc.

He has been the brain behind the guitar works of other Evergreen Musicians like Sola Rotimi and Good Women Choir led by Madam Fasoyin.

Paul Tao who is aging gracefully is still very much alive and deeply involved in God’s Ministry …
