May 24 – October 6, 2024
Nnenna Okore uses scaffolding, pipes, and Ankara – a versatile and iconic African fabric that embodies a deep sense of identity and community – to create a space for human and nonhuman interconnections. Vibrant fabric hues weave around the Gardiner’s hard edges to soften the concrete infrastructure.

Deep appreciation goes to the Bentway team, @thebentway @sheeep.studio and the local tailors for their great work. Join us at the Bentway’s Opening for an evening of mixing, mingling and dancing under the Gardiner. The weather promises to be fantastic, too!
