Peruse Biodun’s social media profile and every moment is captivated by happy moments. Biodun Omolayo celebrates people everyday and everyone loves his enthusiasm in doing it daily. And why, it was never a surprise when invitation went all over the place for Kester Enwereonu’s day of glory. It was organised by the usual suspect; Biodun Omolayo and Omolayo Gallery, Lagos.

The exhibition organized by Omolayo Gallery was a stunning showcase of Nigerian art, featuring works by eminent artists, painters, sculptors, and cartoonists. The artworks on display were not only breathtakingly beautiful but also richly symbolic, reflecting Kester’s love for art and his commitment to promoting Nigerian talent.

The art direction for the works in display was exquisite and original. Kester had his portrait in a strategic position, welcoming everyone into the venue.
The array of work from eminent Nigerian painters was very profound. Works such as Mama Put, Eyo Spirit of Lagos, Flow of Abundance, Ije Market, Friends at Sunset and The Healing Pool, all done by Biodun Omolayo. While the renowned journalist, cartoonist and painter, Josy Ajiboye who is an Octogenarian graced the wall with The Repentant Rascal and Organic Refreshment. Soji Yoloye gave the enthusiasts a lot to savour with Beautiful Dancer that was immediately collected by one of the patrons and friends of Kester Enwereonu. Soji also had Uoyemi,
Hard-working Nigerian artist and proponent of Repousse Art, richly gave the patrons one of his innovative creations entitled Celebration, a repousse sculpture, hanging at the edge of the entrance exhibiting gallery. Yemi Uthman Fish Market, Seyi Ajayi came with Gbayi Maiden and Ayoola Samuel Akinrinola came with The Piper done with bicycle chains. Samuel Soyombo’s Meditation, an abstract but acrylic on canvas kept every enthusiast in the room staring at the work and critiquing the imagination of the artist. In total, 24 artworks were carefully selected and displayed at Let’s Celebrate exhibition.

His friends, business associates, and family members were all present to pay tribute to this extraordinary individual.
