During this Coronavirus pandemic lockdown, the Spirit of God reminded me that this is the right and appropriate time to complete this “abandoned project”

This story was culled from Nigerian born painter, illustrator and gallery owner, Abiodun Omolayo social media wall. He was a former banker but decided to follow his passion due to the Epiphany he received many years ago.

Today, the suave and cosmopolitan artist is one of the most dressed artists of his time. Always looking debonair, even when holding a chisel or splashing colour on a canvas. Abiodun is a collector’s item and he runs Abiodun Omolayo Gallery in one of the most bustling cities in Africa -Lagos.

His children’s holiday workshop popularly known as ‘Young at Art’ is a reference in developmental programs for the young at heart.

“About eleven years ago, I abandoned this particular painting for lack of sufficient creative idea, physical tiredness, discouragement and the needed materials.

I felt the painting will never be completed!
So it was hidden and covered up in a corner because it was not worthy of the public attention and collector’s admiration.

The TURNAROUND

During this Coronavirus pandemic lockdown, the Spirit of God reminded me that this is the right and appropriate time to complete this “abandoned project”

So, I set out to work because I have more than enough time, sufficient materials, and the creative energy to execute it.

The question is, why God reminded me to complete this abandoned project now?
The answer is, IT IS GOD’S TIME!
When it is God’s time, everything might be locked down but GOD’S GRACE & MERCY CAN NEVER BE LOCKED DOWN!
When others are crying of casting down, ours are testimonies of lifting up here and there!!🙏🏿

ENCOURAGEMENT!
Times are hard. People are in dire need, the whole world is on a lockdown but GOD cannot be LOCKED DOWN!
He has control over the heavens and the earth and all the resources therein.

Dear friends, do not let the current challenges weigh you down but think, focus and pray to God to show you the reason for this season, and what the time can be used for positively.

It might be your appointed time to put plans in place and kick start a project, or complete the one that had been previously abandoned – now you have the time!

PRAYER!
The Lord who gave me this idea and the grace to complete this “abandoned project” will come to your aid speedily and help you too to complete your abandoned projects, in Jesus Mighty Name! Amen🙏🏿

While you are STAYING@HOME the Lord will inspire you to maximize the lockdown opportunities to do exploits to the benefits of humanity and to His glory!

This evil COVID-19 ravaging the whole world will not come neaer your dwelling and that of your loved ones!

And for those on their “recovering beds” right now, it will NOT be on to death! You will recover fully and well to testify of God’s mercy & healing!
God will turn that bed to a bed of creative ideas that will advertise you to the world!

ALL YOUR ABANDONED PROJECTS WILL BE COMPLETED BEAUTIFULLY TO THE GLORY OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD!
