WAZOBIA dance is part of Irineu Nogueira Dance Program here in Munich via Zoom.

WAZOBIA is made up of three words, each of which means ‘come’ in Yoruba (wa), Hausa (zo) and Igbo (bia), which are the Nigeria’s three largest linguistics groups. It is a popular pidginized reference to Nigeria’s indigenous language.

Adebajo oluwafemi will be taking you through a basic movement dance workshop from the three most populous ethnic group from Nigeria

Adebajo Oluwafemi Israel is a young talented multidisciplinary artist from Nigeria, born in Bariga, a community of creatives. He is a young director, an emerging choreographer who tell stories through movement.
