It took just a few weeks after this photo was taken then..I was shown the door


I thank the railway administration for finding out I was a bad influence to other artists and chasing me away because today… I have a beautiful studio space with beautiful artists ( warembo wasanii).

Well… Covid-19 has made sure that am


stuck here in lamu county .. I am not yet able to go back to Nairobi to my warembo wasanii but still … I continue to do what I love most!!

For two weeks now… I have been working on this street art project with Ubunifu lamu initiative kids courtesy of Nyambura Wahu
We collected flip flops.. and installed them on the wall of kijitoni dumpsite to come up with KASA)sea turtle )sculpture .
These flip flops pollute marine ecosystems …turtles being one of them..






We are almost there!!!
