Born Luke Osaro from Edo State in South-South part of beautiful Nigeria in the late 1970s. He is the second child out of seven siblings from the family of Oyameda Osayende . Luke Osaro is ultimately the ‘Bright One’ that brings smiles on our faces, thereby, giving us a sunshine day.

He grew up in the cosmopolitan city of Lagos where he got his earliest influences as a young, dynamic, astute child. Lagos will always be part of Luke’s career and developmental odyssey.

Searching for the source assiduously, took Luke on a great expedition for more knowledge at the great citadel of learning- Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile -Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. One art school whose graduates ricochet the contemporary art scenes globally.
He graduated from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun state in 2004 with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Art ( B.A)

Luke is a dude of sheer genius who loves experimenting on our history, norms, nuances, Royalty and cultural presence. The art physician has been exposing what we hitherto overlook into our consciousness with his mercurial creative series. He holds the key to Art – source despite his young dynamics. This is an interpretation of ORIGINALITY.

Like his patron saint, Saint Luke the Great Physician whose painting of Our Lady moved the world, Luke Osaro, famous for his many sculptured works are testimonies of a man who derived his talent from the source. Plethora of sculptures and paintings from ordinary creations have made the artist an extraordinary personality.

Luke is a full time professional artist since 2004, also a member of Society of Nigerian Artists.
