He reaffirmed, “if we are not careful, we may lose our earth.’ But from his presentation in the evening, artistic cultures can save the planet; hence reason for artistic activities to create a earth of happiness.

He is not a fan of extraordinary protocols. Tree planting, managing the ecosystem, nurturing the plants, saving the animals from going into extinction, cultivating relationship with everything nature, shun and research more to manage industrialisation that promotes health hazards. He has compendium of work and comparative theories of how other societies have been trying to save the earth from dying in documentation to back up his fact. Desmond Majekodunmi has done it all. He breathes, drinks, eats, thinks and babies conservation. Desmond is a sheer class. Presently, he is the Chairman of Lagos State Urban Forest and Animal Shelter Initiative.

Desmond and Sheila, both also musicians, composed an album to save the earth. A mission they have always been passionate about, even alongside world music serial intervention and global art. The couple had the opportunity of presenting one of their songs inspired by climate change and and the need for conservation to the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philips.

The clarion call is becoming a classic one. That is, we need to get involved beyond clapping for oratorial skills of an environmentalist in front of us pleading for everyone to save the earth through artistic conservation as he was available to promote and encourage art as a driver for environmental sustainability at Alliance Francaise.
