WOMEN MONDIAL MUSIC FESTIVAL, April 23-25, Abidjan

From today through Sunday, superbly talented African ‘Ladies of Music’ are on on showcase in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

The project is produced by Festival Mondial Musiques des Femmes (Women World Music Festival) led by Chalie Maiwan, in partnership with Alex Boicel at Afromondo — two great Diaspora (Caribbean)-based promoters of African musical acts.

A Pan-African version of the project is expected to hold October 8-10, 2021, and will involve may more women musical acts selected from various countries of the continent.
