Yusuf Durodola is an integrative multimedia recycled art specialist with boundless power to refine hazardous materials that are constantly bullying humanity’s longevity.

His recycled art concepts, styles, and visual ideas are distinctively developed from his in-depth cognizance of the pattern of individual irresponsible behavior and manufacturers’ antipathetic thinking opposing the fight for the reduction in usage including improper creation of the elements that make up his mixed media waste recycled art pieces.

Being a prolific painter, Yusuf Durodola, deliberately, from the discarded materials ( “souls” as he refers to them) discovered selects the appropriate color variety that can convey effectively his overall aims and interest in the created recycled works. This he does marvelously that the recycled art pieces so convincingly look like paintings in their divergent perceptible dimensional forms.

Using the “paints” available from the “souls” he encounters, Yusuf Durodola structures an image, design, relief, representation, or ornamental piece that rhetorically questions the negligent human acts towards waste management as done in one of his submissions, “You Ain’t Hate Me. Did You?” (Mixed media waste 213cm x 152cm 2021), for the ongoing Thought Pyramid Art Centre organized and hosted recycle and upcycle art exhibition FACT FILE which is open until Sunday, September 12, 2021.
