This week OpenArtExchange is closed because of our participation in AKAA Paris. Thrilled to be back at this top fair for contemporary African art to present two great artists; Sanda Amadou (Benin) and Serge Diama (DR Congo) on the subject of spirituality. Some first impressions so far.

Amadou shows his latest generation of synthetic hair sculptures, abstract expressions dealing with nature as a means for humans to connect to the Divine, diving into the roots of African spiritualism. Diama paints meticulously his colorful surrealist compositions, mixing seamlessly symbolism of ancient Congolese religious roots with contemporary evangelical reality in Africa.

You are most welcome to visit us in Le Carreau du Temple, booth C4. Contact us at info@openartexchange.com for free tickets.
