Johnson Aina is a professional engineer (P.Eng) and Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 12 years of progressive experience. He graduated with bachelor’s (first class) and master’s (distinction) degrees in mechanical engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and University of Manitoba, Canada respectively. He is currently a PhD student in Additive Manufacturing at University of Manitoba.

He has worked in varying industries (aerospace, automotive and lumber conversion) in different engineering and project management roles working in progressively increasing responsibilities. He is the managing partner at HayJay Distinct Consult, an education and management consulting company where he guides clients in securing funded graduate admissions in North America. Johnson currently works at the city of Winnipeg (Transit) as a Project Manager, Facilities Contracts and Maintenance where he manages multiple multimillion dollar projects across multiple transit campuses. He is the president of Nigerian chapter of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba.
