Retro Africa is pleased to announce its upcoming solo exhibition ‘The Power of Choice: Is Love’, opening 28th June 2024 at the gallery.

Henri Abraham Univers is a French-Burkinabé artist whose paintings are distinguished by cosmological themes and a selection of repeated elements, such as sprinkles of white stars against a black background. They symbolize the sky, which he says is ever present regardless of what is happening in the world, and reference Love and the oneness of humanity.

In “The Power of Choice: Is Love” exhibition, we invite the audience to reflect on the profound impact of individual choices on our paths and the world around us. Through his work, artist Henri Abraham Univers offers us a clarion call to embrace truth, love, embody light, and contribute to the collective story of human redemption and divine connection.
