The Society of Nigerian Artists, Ogun State Chapter, celebrated Professor Wole Soyinka’s 90th birthday with the “Kongi @90” art exhibition in Ogun State. The opening ceremony, hosted by His Royal Majesty Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo CFR, the Alake of Egbaland, took place on July 12th-13th, 2024. This exhibition honoured Soyinka’s significant contributions to literature and the arts, highlighting his influence on Nigerian culture and beyond.
