Mufu Onifade graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife and he has been a distinguished alumnus. He has won local and international awards also recognition, winning the hearts of enthusiasts, afficionados and collectors in the art business.
Just like his well – chiselled, styled trademark, identifying his root and cultural milieu, Mufu’s ARA technique is quality and well served into the hands of notable collectors worldwide just like Olokun Esin – King’s Horseman, an acrylic on canvas measuring 92cm × 41cm and done in 2007.

Olokun Esin according to the artist is “a reverberating grandeur and the life of splendour by the King’s Horseman who enjoys life even better than the king but has a communal responsibility to die with the king. This is an atavistic reversion to history and a testimonial to the cause of destiny in an ancient era.”
