Renowned performance artist Jelili Atiku continues to mesmerize global audiences with his captivating promotion of Nigerian culture. Recently, he participated in the eclectic procession, Kongo Déy, in Trinidad and Tobago, as part of a group residency and workshop program, “Carnival as a Conjuring of History and Memory.”

Collaborating with organizer Robert Young, Atiku brought his signature energy to the event, blending ancestral heritage with contemporary expression. His performance, “I Bring Àṣẹ and Ire Èṣù to You,” was a brilliant confirmation to his innovative spirit.
