The University of Jos Library is stepping into the limelight not as a quiet haven of books and research, but as a vibrant space of creativity, innovation, and cultural expression. Under the theme “Beyond the Shelves,” the Library presents a special NUGA Exhibition, a 10-day showcase that celebrates the artistic and intellectual brilliance within the University of Jos community. The tagline makes the ambience art – warming: “Read, Explore and Discover”

From November 6th to 16th, 2025, the Library’s Basement at the Naraguta Campus will transform into a dynamic hub of art, culture, and ideas. Visitors can expect to encounter a fusion of visual arts, creative writing, multimedia innovations, and scholarly projects, all reflecting the diversity and ingenuity of the university environment.

The Opening Ceremony, set for Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m., promises to be a moment of inspiration and reflection, gathering students, staff, and art lovers in a shared experience of discovery. On other exhibition days, doors will open from 9:00 a.m. daily, inviting the public to read, explore, and discover the treasures that lie beyond the shelves.
