The Lagos Pop-Up Museum is set to transform the cultural landscape of Nigeria’s most vibrant city into a dynamic hub of art, history, and human connection. From 8 November 2025 to 10 February 2026, the Ecobank Pan African Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, will come alive daily with a colorful blend of exhibitions, performances, and interdisciplinary experiences that promise to redefine the museum experience.

Envisioned as a creative and cultural intervention, the Lagos Pop-Up Museum will engage audiences across generations and backgrounds inviting Lagosians and visitors alike to explore the city’s spirit through art, education, history, and public interaction. The project unfolds as a tapestry of mutating activities, weaving together static and moving components, workshops, performances, discussions, artist showcases, and exhibitions all designed to stimulate curiosity and inspire civic consciousness. Organised by Ecobank in partnership with the Yaba Art Museum of Yaba College of Technology, the Lagos Pop-Up Museum is a visionary collaboration that bridges institutional knowledge, artistic innovation, and public engagement.
