ARTROAD | Art for Every Home, Every Heart As ARTZERO, Ba’s Place & Ikeja Art Salon Present the December Affordable Art Bazaar

2025 has been a remarkable year a year where art stayed firmly on the front burner from start to finish. What a season it has been! From electrifying exhibitions to awe – inspiring art fairs and cultural festivals, art has created the much-needed space for connection and community. Nigeria continues to nurture unforgettable moments with a surge of events in solo and group shows expanding artistic narratives, new and emerging galleries challenging the status quo with rich content, and the celebration of modernist masters who paved the way. The fire of young creatives burns even brighter with engagements such as the Fobally State Art Competition and the National Art Competition for Schools.

This festive season, Lagos welcomes a refreshing wave of creativity as ARTZERO, Ba’s Place, and Ikeja Art Salon come together to present the December Affordable Art Bazaar. This happens to be an inclusive celebration designed to bring art closer to everyone. From Saturday, December 13th to Saturday, January 10th, Ba’s Place at 52 Oduduwa Crescent, Ikeja GRA transforms into a another marketplace where imagination finds a home on walls, shelves, and in the hearts of both seasoned and first-time collectors.

ARTZERO was founded by the renowned Nigerian sculptor Ato Arinze, with a clear mission which is to create a vibrant platform where young and emerging artists can connect, grow, and thrive. Built as a community of creativity and support, ARTZERO has become a powerful hub for artistic interaction, movement, and career development.

Since its establishment, the organisation has demonstrated remarkable impact through its strong networking culture, fostering meaningful relationships among members and across the broader art ecosystem thereby investing in growth partnership. With dedicated efforts in organising exhibitions, workshops, symposia, and collaborative art engagements, ARTZERO continues to empower rising talents while contributing significantly to Nigeria’s evolving contemporary art narrative.

The bazaar will showcase a rich diversity of Nigerian artistry. To be added are paintings overflowing with colour and emotion that sit proudly beside finely crafted sculptures. While Ceramics shaped with stories in every curve lie will be next to textiles that dance with motifs of culture and heritage. Even the sincerity of hand-drawn lines are going to capture identity, passion, and presence.

Just have it at the back of your mind that each artwork will remind us that creativity is not reserved for luxury but a companion to everyday life.

What makes this bazaar truly inviting is its commitment to affordability. Here, art steps down from its pedestal of exclusivity and stretches out its hands to everyone who longs for beauty. Whether you are a budding collector, a homeowner seeking a spark of elegance, or a thoughtful giver searching for the perfect festive gift, that creativity is within reach, not behind a velvet rope. And the atmosphere promises to be warm and welcome, visitors will experience a friendly space where conversations flow freely between artists and admirers, where curiosity is celebrated, and where every visitor explores with ease, without the fear of oversized price tags.
