An intergenerational celebration of art, legacy, and cultural continuity is set to unfold at The Gregorian Exhibition, a special showcase honouring the legendary Bruce Onobrakpeya. Widely recognized as a UNESCO Human Living Treasure, Onobrakpeya’s lifelong contribution to Nigerian and global art takes center stage in this thoughtfully curated exhibition.

Organised by the St. Gregory’s College Old Boys Association, the exhibition brings together distinguished artists connected to St. Gregory’s College, including notable names such as David Dale and Tayo Quaye, alongside other eminent Gregorian and guest artists. It is a powerful reflection of mentorship, artistic excellence, and the enduring influence of one of Nigeria’s foremost creative figures.

The event will also be graced by an array of respected dignitaries, including Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka, His Majesty Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe, and His Excellency Gbenga Daniel, underscoring the exhibition’s cultural and national significance.

Scheduled to open on April 25, 2026, at Jubilee Hall in Ikoyi, Lagos, the exhibition will run through April 27. More than just an art showcase, The Gregorian Exhibition stands as a tribute to legacy, a bridge between generations, and a celebration of the lasting impact of artistic vision.
