An Art Exhibition of Prints from Three Continents: Six Decades of Vision.

This remarkable showcase celebrates the enduring legacy of Bruce Onobrakpeya and the global community of printmakers whose works span Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

Drawn from the collection of Professor Ebun Clark, this exhibition is more than a display of prints. This is a visual dialogue across generations and geographies, tracing six decades of creativity, innovation, and cultural exchange.

The National Museum, Onikan, Lagos, will once again become a meeting point of art, culture, and history as the Oluwani Arts Foundation, in collaboration with the National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM), presents a landmark exhibition entitled Six Decades of Vision: Bruce Onobrakpeya’s Prints and the Global Print Family in the Collection of Prof. Ebun Clark.

Opening on Sunday, October 19, 2025, the exhibition celebrates over sixty years of art collecting by Prof. Ebun Clark, one of Nigeria’s foremost art scholars and patrons. Her private collection tells a global story of one that connects Africa, Europe, and North America through the power of printmaking.

At the core of this artistic journey is Bruce Onobrakpeya, Nigeria’s legendary master printmaker whose influence stretches far beyond the continent. His works, alongside prints by members of the global printmaking community from the United States, Britain, and Africa, reveal the evolution of contemporary printmaking and its shared language of creativity.

Curated by Moses Ohiomokhare, Mudiare Onobrakpeya, Jefferson Jonahan, and Oluwani, the exhibition invites viewers to experience how print art has become a bridge between cultures and generations.

The opening event is by invitation at 4 p.m, while public viewing runs from October 20 to 29, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the National Museum, Onikan, Lagos.
