Jacqueline Suowari is a Nigerian multidisciplinary artist renowned for her monumental ballpoint pen drawings, some spanning over 10 feet wide. Her dynamic practice blends drawing, sculpture, poetry, performance, and film. Her debut short film, ‘Of Lines and Layers’, earned an AMVCA nomination, further cementing her creative versatility. Committed to empowering young artists, she founded The Passion for Art Initiative and was named among MIPAD’s 2025 honorees for her global impact. Suowari’s work has been exhibited in New York, London, Lagos, and Paris, and featured by CNN, Forbes Africa, and TEDx, marking her as a leading voice in contemporary African art.
