The Craft Potters Association of Nigeria (CPAN) is pleased to invite artists, pottery enthusiasts, and members of the public to its April Workshop themed “Smoke Firing.”

Scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2026, the workshop will take place at Atamora Pottery Village, along the Ife-Ibadan Expressway, Wasimi, Ikire. This immersive session will explore the traditional and contemporary techniques of smoke firing, a unique pottery process known for its rich surface patterns and earthy finishes.

Participants will gain hands-on experience, learn from skilled practitioners, and deepen their understanding of indigenous ceramic practices. The workshop also provides an opportunity for networking and cultural exchange among creatives in the pottery community.
